Driving Green
Entrepreneurship
A free Decision Support System and Training Catalogue for circular businesses in fashion and agri-food
The CORE project (Circular economy for young Entrepreneurs) is a European cooperation initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, bringing together five partner organisations from Italy, France, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. Together, they are building free, AI-powered tools and a curated training catalogue to help aspiring and existing entrepreneurs start or transition to green and circular business models.

The Problem We Are
Solving
The fashion and agri-food industries are two of Europe's most economically significant sectors — and two of the most polluting. SMEs account for roughly 60 % of EU greenhouse gas emissions, yet most lack the tools, knowledge, and tailored support to shift towards circular, sustainable business models. Young aspiring entrepreneurs feel a knowledge gap when it comes to starting green businesses. Existing entrepreneurs face regulatory uncertainty, financial barriers, and a shortage of sector-specific guidance aligned with the EU Green Deal and the new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (CSRD, in force from 2025).
